Working Principle of Side Spray Retort

Appropriate amount of water is retained at bottom of retort. If needed, this part of water can be automatically injected at start of heating stage. For hot-filled products, this part of water can be preheated in hot water tank then injected.

Throughout sterilization process, this part of water is sprayed onto products in mist form through high-flow pump and four-direction spray nozzles configured on each product tray. Can achieve same effect at any tray position in upper and lower layers, front and back, left and right.

Retort equipped with tube heat exchanger. During heating and cooling stages, process water in pot passes through one side, while steam and cooling water pass through other side. Thus sterilized products do not directly contact steam and cooling water, achieving sterile heating and cooling.

Temperature uniformity in retort: +/-0.5°C, pressure control: 0.05Bar.
